IN THE MATTER OF SUSPENDING THE CONDUCT OF REGISTRATION, VALIDATION AND UPDATING OF REGISTRATION RECORDS IN VIEW OF THE OBSERVANCE OF HOLY WEEK.
WHEREAS, April 2, 2015 Maundy Thursday and April 3, 2015 Good Friday were declared as regular holidays pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 831 series of 2014.
NOW THEREFORE, by virtue of the power vested in it by the Constitution, Omnibus Election Code, Republic Acts No. 8189 and other related registration laws and resolutions, the Commission on Elections RESOLVES as it hereby RESOLVED to adopt the following schedule in the conduct of registration, validation and updating of registration in all Offices of the Election Officers during the holy week, as follows:
| April 1, 2015 | Half day from 8:00 in the morning to 12:00 noon |
| April 2, 3 & 4, 2015 | Suspension of registration in other Cities and Municipalities |
| April 2, 3 & 5, 2015 | Suspension of registration in National Capital Region and Highly Urbanized Cities |
Let the Election and Barangay Affairs Department implement this Resolution.
