COMELEC, Pacific Malls to forge pact on voter registration
Another mall chain has partnered with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) in its ramped-up campaign for biometric voter registration. The COMELEC on Tuesday announced that the poll body is set to sign a Memorandum of Agreement with Pacific Mall Corporation for the establishment of satellite voter registration/validation booths inside their malls.
Pacific Mall Corporation is an affiliate of the Vicsal Development Corporation which operates premiere malls located in the cities of Legazpi, Lucena and Mandaue.
The COMELEC-Pacific Mall MOA signing will be held on July 22, 2015, 9:00 AM at the SENTRO 1771, Serendra, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. It will be attended by Mr. EDWARD S. GAISANO, Chairman and President of Pacific Mall Corp. together with Mr. JUAN JOSE F. SIBAL, General Manager of Pacific Mall Corp.
Representing the COMELEC in this partnership will be COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista.
Listed below is the schedule of satellite voter registration/validation at Pacific Malls:
Pacific Mall - Lucena : Every Fridays starting July 24 to September 25,2015 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Fashion Hub Hallway, Second Level.
Pacific Mall - Mandaue: Every Fridays starting July 17 to September 25,2015 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Second Level.
Pacific Mall - Legazpi (Second Level - Expansion Area):
