For Provision of Trucking Services to Transfer the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) Machines, PCOS Peripherals, IT Equipment and Other Contents of Cabuyao, Laguna Warehouse

The public is hereby informed of the changes/clarifications in the Bidding Documents for the Public Bidding of Provision of Trucking Services to Transfer the Precinct Count Optical Scan (PCOS) Machines, PCOS Peripherals, IT Equipmentand Other Contents of Cabuyao, Laguna Warehouse (Reference No. BAC 11 – 2017TS).

  1. The BAC hereby announces that the Submission of Bids for this project will be moved from September 1, 2017 9:00 AM to September 4, 2017, 9:00 AM at the BAC Secretariat Office, 7th Floor, Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila. Late bids shall not be accepted.

    The Opening of Bids will be moved from September 1, 2017 10:00 AM to September 4, 2017, 10:00 AM at the COMELEC Session Hall, 8th floor, Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila.
  2. The queries from bidders are hereby explained and answered as follows:

    Name of Prospective Bidders Questions Answers
    Ms. Joanna Lanuza of Twin Tigers Trucking thru e-mail dated August 23, 2017 1. I read that insurance cost is 1.64M. Do we need to match the said amount and include in our bid or just the trucking services quotation, e.g. 10,500 x 156 trips + vat? Pls clarify. We have existing inland marine insurance but coverage is only PhP 500,000. Do we need to upgrade it? 1. Not necessarily: It would suffice if the bidder can offer any amount that would cover all equipment, provided, it will not exceed the ABC.

    Provide a separate offer for the trucking cost and insurance (the indicated Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) is INCLUSIVE of ALL TAXES).

    There must be a separate insurance covering specifically COMELEC Equipment, Please see Section VI of Bidding Documents.
      2. Do I need to put the total bid amount ex. 1.5M in the contract agreement form? 2. In indicating financial bid, there must be two (2) separate costing one (1) for the trucking and one (1) for the insurance.
      3. What are the other documents that I need to provide? E.g. DTI, ITR? I don't see it in the bid docs requirements. 3. Please see Clause 12. 1 of Section III – Bid Data Sheet of the Bidding Documents.

All terms, conditions and instructions to bidders specified in the Bidding Documents inconsistent with this Bid Bulletin are hereby superseded and modified accordingly.
