IN THE MATTER OF THE RECOMMENDATION FOR ISSUANCE OF A SUPPLEMENTAL RESOLUTION FOR RESOLUTION NO. 10411
This pertains to the two (2) Memoranda dated August 28, 2018 and September 4, 2018 of Atty. Abigail Justine M. Cuaresma-Lilagan, Acting Clerk of the Commission, relative to the recommendation for issuance of a Supplemental Resolution for Resolution No. 10411.
The respective Memorandum of Atty. Lilagan reads:
"This refers to Comelec Resolution No. 10411 promulgated on 31 July 2018 which directed registered political parties or coalition of political patties to submit a Sworn Information Update Statement (SIUS) not later than 31 August 2018 to ensure that its records contain the correct and updated information.
Since the issuance of said Resolution, several registered political party groups under the parly-list system have been calling this Office inquiring whether they also need to update their records. There is also one (1) political parly group that was accredited after the promulgation of the afore-mentioned Resolution. Considering that there is a need to update the records of registered political parties under the party-list system to ensure effective and accurate service of issuances by the Commission, the undersigned respectfully requests issuance of a supplementary resolution directing the following to likewise correct and update their records not later than 28 September 2018:

"This refers to the undersigned Memorandum dated August 28, 2018 submitting recommendation for issuance of a Supplemental Resolution for Resolution No. 10411 enumerating therein the list of the registered political party under the party-list system.
It was found out that the name of registered political party, HUGPONG NG PAGBABAGO PARTY (HNP) was inadvertently written as HUKBONG NG PAGBABAGO PARTY (HNP), hence, the undersigned requests that the said error be corrected."
The Commission RESOLVED, as it hereby RESOLVES, to supplement Comelec Resolution No. 10411 and hereby directs the following to correct and update their records not later than 28 September 2018:

The above-mentioned political party and political parties under the partylist system shall strictly comply with the provisions under Resolution No. 10411.
Let the Clerk of the Commission implement this Resolution by furnishing all the foregoing parties a copy of this Resolution at their registered address. The Education and Information Department (EID) of the Commission is hereby directed to cause the publication of this Resolution in two (2) daily newspaper of general circulation.
